What is injection molding machine?

An injection molding machine is like an incredibly powerful "plastic shaping magician."

Imagine you have a bunch of plastic pellets; they're like a pile of tiny building blocks. The injection molding machine first "eats" these plastic pellets. Inside it, there's a heating area, like a super stove, that can heat the pellets to extremely high temperatures. This turns the hard pellets into a soft, gooey liquid, just like melting ice cubes into water.

Next, the machine has something like a giant syringe that forcefully pushes this liquid plastic into a mold. The mold is like a little box with a specific shape, such as a cup, toy car, or phone case. Once the liquid plastic is injected, it fills every corner of the mold and takes on its shape.

After that, the machine cools down the mold, allowing the plastic liquid inside to harden again and firmly hold the shape of the mold. Finally, the mold opens, and out comes the plastic product we wanted, as if it had been magically created from a magic box.
In factories, injection molding machines can work non-stop, producing one identical plastic product after another. They're great helpers for making all kinds of plastic items.
